According to studies carried out in the United States of America, among senior high school students by the age of 18, approximately 80% have tried alcohol, 66% have smoked cigarettes, and 13% smoke half a pack daily! Approximately 15% have been exposed to the use of hallucinogens, stimulants or inhalants, and 8% used cocaine in the past school years.

In one of the studies carried out with senior high school students, as to the difficulty in obtaining marijuana, approximately 80% of the students answered “fairly easy” or “very easy” to get.
