Drugs > Warning Signals
Some warning signals can help parents and teachers in identifying behavior related to the use of alcohol and drugs. Mood and personality swings, irritability, breaking of rules, regular fighting with parents, irresponsible behavior associated with lack of motivation and low self-esteem tend to be seen in teenagers who have begun using drugs.

In school, students can under perform and have the following symptoms: negative attitudes, tardiness and unjustified absences, problems with discipline and involvement with school mates who are drug users. Many times there is a significant change in physical appearance and dressing habits. Some physical symptoms such as fatigue, sleeping difficulty, headaches, nausea and unrest could be a sign of drug abuse.
